Happy Holidays!
An illo this month for SNL Casey Wilson's holiday mix: "I farted on Santa's Lap (Now Christmas Is Gonna Stink for Me)" by The Little Stinkers Honest to God, this song really exists! You can find it on Youtube and regret it two minutes later. Happy Holidays guys...
Romeo-Cam
A portrait of my friend Laurin's (AKA Sleazy McQueen) little brother Cam. I had a good time doing this feller.

Jessica Kaczorowski Jewelry
I met Jessica Kaczorowski recently and immediately found myself staring intently at her necklace & earrings. Turned out she'd made them! It's so amazing to stumble across someone with a true craftsmanship ability - seems a whole lot of jewelry designers are just stringing beads these days...She's currently in the process of updating her site but I just really couldn't help myself, I had to share. Promise I'll be sure to keep you all posted once her site is updated with even more beautiful jewelry!

LIFE Image Bank
Google has teamed up with the now defunct LIFE magazine to digitize their massive image bank including many images that never actually made it to print. Awesome! Talk about a treasure trove of amazing historic photos. Next time someone comissions you to do a portrait of Walt Disney or the Wright Bros you know EXACTLY where to go. HERE.
Here's another site an art director directed me to a ways back (when in fact I DID need pics of the Wright Bros). The library of Congress has an awesome (if not even more extensive) collection of historic images as well.
Check that out HERE!

The Last of the Flower Pieces
The final large(ish) piece I did for Aqua Art Miami (it goes with the other flowered piece), which runs today through Sunday the 7th. Aqua's around the corner from Art Basel, and looks like there are a ton of cool galleries participating this year. Wish I was there to see it.. three cheers for moths in the wallet!
The Beer Pager
Former WFOFer and all around awesome guy Frank Stockton's dad has invented the beer pager. Yep, a beer coozie that you can page should you misplace your drink. Frank did all the product design and illustrations for the coozies themselves. Go Frank! Check out the Beer Pager HERE.

Kiehl's Holiday Display
I loooove Kiehl's products (highschool was all about their blackberry lipgloss) so was just beside myself when they called and asked me to contribute some work for their holiday display! Unfortunately they only ended up using my shampoo bottle, but I really can't complain! I saw the display for myself the other day and it looks wonderful, the whole store looks tasteful and festive. Good thing I had no money on me at the time cause I really could've done some damage....

Done & done.
Finally finished up the new group of stitchings and sent them off to the Anno Domini Gallery in San Jose for their holiday group show, 'Fresh Produce'. It was fun (albeit exhausting) to so many quick, little stitchings all at once. The rest will be up on my site soon! Here n' here.

The Technology Issue
My first cover! I did this for Cecilia over at the L Magazine for their technology issue. This was a fun assignment- I love drawing scenes from the past but I'd never before realized what a blast it is to design the future. It was quite a challenge too- reference is scarce.

More Kleptomaniac Objects
I just finished these two new Kleptomaniac pieces, but for some strange reason, my attempts to render the wholesome little girl scout is way off! My version came out looking mischievous and retarded in a way...eek.
