I posted a link on my website last week, but in case you missed it- check out Alicia's new site here.

I'm just gonna go ahead and put any worries of posting "too much of my own work" aside and post away here....I've been playing around quite a bit these past several weeks and am jonesin for some feedback!

In it's previous incarnation:

SIDE NOTE: The paintings are just a piling up in my cramped little studio left & right.....Which means good news for you! I'm selling off a selection of paintings for $200 and under in order to make room for the new. Email me for a list!

the new gibson girl

This image was done as a contribution to the Ringling School's senior illustration class for a book they're publishing in order to raise funds for a class show. Soon as I have some more details, I'll be sure to let you know where you can purchase said book and help some support some kick ass young illustrators!

Ilana Kohn, illustrator.

I hung out with our own Ilana Kohn yesterday and she sat still long enough for me to do a couple of quick portraits.

I think the 2nd one looks more like her... I'm not that good at likeness.

Random Rules!

What's better than a button to a store that's perpetually "coming soon"? A button to everything! Every time you click "rndm" (above the portfolio thumbnails on my site) a new jpeg from my images archive will appear. It might take a moment to load the first time you click it but after that it should be faster. Enjoy!

ⓖⓗⓞⓢⓣⓢⓗⓡⓘⓜⓟ

I totally admire Ghostshrimp's work– he really knows how to make his illustrations completely absorbing. There is an attention to detail and a sense of whimsical fun that just seems to be second nature. Also, I have to applaud him on the awesome fortress in the woods he's built... I can't decide which skill I'm more jealous of!
I would love to see his little dudes made into raffia dolls... don't make me explain it... I just think it would work so perfectly.

Sam Weber

Yesterday I swung by the Pencil Factory to visit my buddy Sam Weber for some inspiration.

Everyone already knows who he is but few probably get to see his original watercolors. They're equally amazing as the stuff you see in print. Pretty mind-blowing. Check out his news section to see his newest work.

The timeless New York minute

More than 100 years old, Maurice Ketten's satirical "'Hurry Up' New Yorker" proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same- even in the Big Apple. Read more here.
